I'm Stacy- wife, mom, and southern pecan food enthusiast based in Colorado, specializing in elopement + intimate wedding photography. When I'm not photographing awesome couples + their furry friends, you can most likely find me cooking yummy food, snapping iPhone photos of my kiddos, or dancing (and not well!) to some Kygo. If I'm lucky, I'm doing at least two of those things right now.
My sweet husband, Jeff, is usually seen shooting alongside me during wedding days. He's the best second shooter and assistant I could ever have!
We photograph elopements and weddings all over the country and we'll go wherever you're planning your special day.

how it happens
My booking process begins with a conversation. I want to learn about YOU. No, I don't expect you to write a novel about yourself, so no pressure there! But I do want to learn anything you're willing to share with me, like how you met, funny first date stories, or how you two got engaged. I want to get to know who you are so that I can better serve you in the ways that will benefit you the most,
Once you get in touch, we'll get to know one another, talk about the details of your day, and I will answer any questions you might have about working with me. The next step is to reserve your date with a signed agreement and a $1,000 retainer (all via email!).

From there, we’ll begin planning your engagement session!
LET THE FUN BEGIN! :)
There might be a few months in between your session and your wedding, but I'm always around to answer questions you have throughout the planning process (I know it’s a lot to think about!). About two months before the big day, I'll check in again with a pre-wedding questionnaire to help finalize the timeline, create the family formal shot list and to make sure I'm fully prepared to photograph your wedding.
After the wedding, I will personally hand edit each and every image and upload them in your online gallery. You can expect to receive your images within four weeks of your wedding.

Handcrafted Albums are the perfect way to remember your wedding day.
One of the best ways to make your wedding memories last is by ordering an album. These high quality professionally designed albums come in a variety of linen & leather colors.
20 page 10x10 album
Linen: $1200 for Linen
Leather: $1650
Additional 2-page Spread: $50
All albums must be prepaid before design begins. Albums typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and can include several rounds of revision. With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.

engagement sessions
Unless you’re a model, being photographed probably feels a little awkward. We do this for a living and we still always feel a little out of place when we have our photos taken!
We’re big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. First, they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera. It takes time for most couples to warm up to being photographed and understand how we pose. Timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits - which is why we’ve found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time.
Second, you can showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is signficant to the two of you (and even include pets!). While they’re great for save-the-dates, we’ve taken engagement photos anywhere from 18 months in advance to a few days before the wedding.
There is a lot to think about when it comes to planning a session! We get asked the same things over and over again, so we thought it would be the most beneficial if we put together a guide that walks you through everything you need to know. If you choose to book your wedding with us,
you'll have access to our detailed guide where we’ll cover what to wear, whether to bring pets & how to manage them, location ideas and more!

I have no idea how many hours of wedding day coverage I 'll need- can you help?
Absolutely! You're most likely doing this wedding planning thing for the very first time and I am here to help! We will discuss your ideal wedding day and the things that matter most to you. From there, we can decide what your wedding day timeline will look like, which will help us determine your coverage time! You are always welcome to add more time later, if you need it!

Our images- how many can we expect from our wedding day + how do we get them?
Great question! I typically average 60-80 images per hour of shooting. Of course this number will vary, depending on your event, but that is the most realistic number.
Your images will be delivered in a password protected online gallery. You will have the ability to download images, share + favorite them, and print gorgeous products-all within your gallery! You can also share your gallery with family and friends, so that they can purchase their own prints without having to ask you for one! Pretty great, right?

Your shooting style- are you in control all day or behind the scenes all day?
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be times when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done (ex.- family portraits!), while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you won't even know I'm there (ceremony, dancing, etc.).
Your engagement session is super important because I will have the time to teach you all that you need to know, so that on your wedding day you won't need quite as much instruction from me when it comes to posing, etc.!

How do we book our date with you?
Once we've had a chat (either phone or email!) and you're ready to book, I will create your personalized online proposal that will walk you through your chosen collection. From within your proposal, you can pay your $1,000 retainer fee and sign the agreement. Once completed, the date is officially yours!
